How to manage codecs

To manage codecs in SessionTalk, start by clicking the settings icon at the bottom of the sidebar to access the Settings tab. From there, select the desired account, and then click the arrow icon next to 'Advanced SIP Settings'. You'll find separate sets of codecs for Audio and Video. Navigate to the respective codec page by clicking the arrow button next to 'Audio Codecs' or 'Video Codecs'.

Codecs can be controlled both on the SessionCloud portal and locally in the SessionTalk app. Enabled codecs will appear in the app and can be toggled on or off by checking or unchecking their respective checkboxes. Codecs are prioritized in the order they are listed, with the top codec being offered. Adjust their priority by clicking the up or down arrow buttons accordingly.
