How to Enable Messaging

Messaging can be enabled or disabled in the SessionCloud portal. If messaging is enabled on the portal, you can configure messaging settings locally for a specific account. Note that if messaging is disabled on the portal, the 'Messaging' section in the desktop app will not be visible.

Click on the Settings icon at the bottom of the sidebar, then select 'Accounts'. Next, click on the account you want to modify. Navigate to 'Advanced SIP Settings' and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the 'Messaging' section. Finally, check the checkbox next to 'Enable Messaging' to enable messaging capability.
