How to place an audio or video call

How to Place an Audio or Video Call

You can use the desktop softphone on Windows and MacOS to place audio and video calls. Upto seven simultaneous calls are supported with six way audio conferencing. A registered SIP account is required to place and receive calls.

Dialpad Page

The Active SIP account displayed on the dialer screen will be the SIP account used to place a call.The registration status icon should be green to allow a call to be placed.

Dialer

To place a call from the dialer simply use the keypad to enter the number you wish to dial,then tap either the green call button to place an audio call or the green camera button to place a video call as shown in screenshot above.

Contacts

Hovering over a contact will make visible call,video and messaging icons. Tap the call icon to make an audio call.

Contacts Options

Alternatively right click the contact and select 'Call' to place audio call. If the contact has multiple numbers hovering over 'Call' will allow the individual number to be selected.

Favorites

Hovering over a favorite will make visible call,video and messaging icons. Tap the call icon to make an audio call.

Alternatively right click the favorite and select 'Call' to place audio call. If the contact has multiple numbers hovering over 'Call' will allow the individual number to be selected.

Tap a recents call log entry to make an audio call.

Messaging

Right click on a message to open up a menu with some options. Click the 'Call' option to call that number.

Message Options
